Anti Narcotics Force has activated public complaint number 1415, which will be operational 24/7 for registration of complaints and facilitation of the general public to supplement its efforts to make Pakistan Drug Free Society. ANF spokesman said on Monday that sharing of information by general public regarding drug peddling/ trafficking or any other narcotics related activity will be highly appreciated. The name and personal details of the complainant will be treated as confidential.
Meanwhile Punjab School Education Department, Chief Minister's Special Monitoring Unit (SMU) and Phoenix Foundation for Research & Development (PFRD) started special anti-drug awareness campaign in the provincial capital. A special seminar was conducted at Government Shuhada-e-APS Memorial Model Girls High School, Model Town in which CEO Education Authority, Dr Bashir Zahid Goraya, Principal of the school Munawar Tabasum, Team Leader SMU Mohammad Abdul Malik, Hamza Tariq, CEO Phoenix Foundation Dr Noor ul Zaman Rafique and social worker Shaista Khawar spoke on the occasion.
