AJ&K President looking forward for Kashmir Super League success

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K), Sardar Masood Khan has said that the Kashmir Super League (KSL) will play a great role in bringing AJK's youth into the cricketing mainstream of Pakistan. He said this here on Thursday while having a meeting with the organizers of the KSL who called on him under the leadership of Director KSL, Murtaza Durrani.
Masood, who is also the Chief Patron of the KSL, said that this league will be instrumental in promoting cricket in AJK, helping generate revenue. He said now when this plan has been unveiled, it is pertinent that necessary steps may be taken to help make this concept a reality.
President Masood Khan has said that KSL will encourage players from Pakistan and also abroad to play in the league. The President urged maintaining a close liaison with the Pakistan Super League franchise. He said that coordination with PSL will help provide the technical know-how and expertise needed to successfully launch KSL.
The President AJK praised the efforts of the current government and especially Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, AJK Minister for Youth, Sports and Culture. He said that Chaudhry Saeed and his ministry will be deeply involved in making this tournament a success.
He added that the government is focusing on mobilizing all available resources in promoting a culture of sports in AJK. He said modern sporting facilities are being made throughout AJK in order to encourage the youth in engaging in healthy and positive activities. The President commended the organizers of this league for taking up this bold step and assured his full cooperation in making this league a success.
