KP, Sindh people facing worst transport problems: CM

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said people of the KP and Sindh are facing problems due to the dilapidated conditions of transport systems in their respective provinces but Zardari Sahib and Niazi were simply unable to start such beneficial projects. "If Almighty Allah accorded us the chance then such projects will be launched all over the country," Shahbaz said while talking to the elected representatives in Lahore.
Shahbaz said, "U-turn Khan has put the development journey of the country at risk, it was due to the delaying tactics of Niazi Sahib, Orange Line Metro Train Project delayed for 22 months. If Niazi had not created hindrances in this project, thousands of passengers would have been using this train today."
Shahbaz maintained that successful test run of first metro train in Lahore is a milestone and credit of introducing such a wonderful train service goes to PML-N government. He said the government is giving back the right of modern and standardized transport facility to common man. For the purpose, international mass transit system has been given practical shape in the Punjab.
He claimed that the Punjab government has promoted merit, transparency and honesty in every sector and projects have been completed despite hurdles. Elected representatives congratulated the chief minister for the successful test run of orange line Metro train and said measures taken by Punjab government for the welfare of public are unprecedented.
