Muslim League Zia Chief Ijazul Haq, MNA, called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Ch Shujat Hussain and senior leader Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence on Tuesday and discussed political issues. During the meeting, views were exchanged about alliance of the Muslim Leaguers and the next general elections besides other matters of mutual interest.
Elahi said on the occasion that alliance of the Muslim Leaguers is essential and the party will fully participate in the elections for which political and electoral activities have already been started. He asked the Election Commission to take political parties into confidence for holding free and fair elections. He said the caretaker pm and the caretaker CM Punjab should also have neutral personality.
