Middlesex University Dubai's Director, Dr Cedwyn Fernandes, has been awarded the title of Pro Vice-Chancellor. With over a decade of experience in higher education in the UAE, he has showcased great leadership skills and has led the University to outstanding success, catapulting its reputation as the University of Choice in the region.
He has been responsible for setting up innovative programmes, and under his leadership the university's MBA programme ranked No 1 in Dubai by Forbes Middle East in 2012. This University is the first overseas campus of the internationally renowned Middlesex University in London.
The student body is representative of over a 100 countries. A handful number of students from Pakistan are studying at this campus and pursuing their career in various academic fields. Cedwyn took over as Director of Middlesex University Dubai in March 2015, and since then student enrolment has increased by 40 percent and the University now offers 30 Undergraduate and 37 Postgraduate Programmes.-PR
