Nation anxiously awaits SC's summons to all those named in Panama Leaks: Siraj

Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the nation was keenly awaiting the Supreme Court summons to all others named in the Panama Leaks and the recovery of the public money lying in the accounts of the plunderers in banks abroad. According to media cell of JI Lahore he was speaking at Iftar dinner in his honour in tehsil Munda of Dir district.
Sirajul Haq said that the masses wanted an automatic accountability system under which nobody could dare to misappropriate public money and if someone committed any corruption could not escape the law. He said that till the time the people named in the Panama Leaks, Dubai Leaks, London Leaks and those availing remission of huge bank loans were brought to book, the masses would not be satisfied.
He said that corrupt politicians had closed the doors of politics to the common man. He urged the masses to reject these so called politicians in the next elections because they were responsible for all the ills in the society. He said that these politicians considered politics as business. They reached the corridors of power with the power of their wealth.
He said these people were the tool of the international establishment which continued its control both on the rulers and the opposition. When one of its pawns was defeated, it would try the other. He said that the in the coming elections, the MMA would block the path of these elements. The JI chief said he had repeatedly requested the Supreme Court to frame a mechanism for the recovery of the public money lying abroad as this would help stabilize national economy.
Sirajul Haq termed the consensus on the constitutional amendment on FATA reforms as a historic victory and said that it would help solve all the problems being faced by the tribal people and they would get all their rights. He said this success was the outcome of persistent efforts of the JI and the FATA people.
