Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar on Friday declared Tassaduq Jillani as favourite candidate for the caretaker PM. Talking to media here on Friday, he said that there was no doubt that the matter would go to the Parliamentary Committee.
Nisar said that his view was being encouraged in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) circles and 95% of the MNAs are like-minded. He also announced to contest elections from four constituencies, two from the National Assembly and two from the Provincial.
Responding to a question related to if he thinks Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will be the country's next prime minister, he said that he don't know and asked what do they think? The former minister said that it is not necessary that the people joining PTI would win elections too because every party has its own electables.
