A Lahore High Court bench will take up on next Tuesday a petition seeking action against Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for disclosing minutes and details of National Security Council meeting to former premier Nawaz Sharif. A civil society member Amina Malik through Azhar Siddique advocate also sought action against Nawaz Sharif for his alleged action to defame the state institutions. The petitioner pleaded that the disqualified premier on May 11, 2018, during his interview to English daily was against our state. The petitioner asked the court to take action against Nawaz Sharif for trying to defame the state.
