Most parts to remain in grip of intense heat

Spokesman of Met office has informed that mainly dry weather is likely to prevail during the next 4-5 days. There is 30 percent chance of isolated rain/dust storm in Rawalpindi and Malakand divisions during next 5 days. Most parts of the country will remain in the grip of the intense heat with temperatures above 40°C in sub mountainous areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and AJK, while around 50°C in interior Sindh, southern and central Punjab and eastern Balochistan.
However, the sea breeze will restore gradually from Friday along the coastal belt bringing Karachi temperature to normal range of 35-37°C during next week.
In its daily weather report Met Office said that Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country on Wednesday, while very hot in upper Sindh, Makran, Sibbi divisions.
