Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran has decided to contest the general elections from NA-131, Lahore. According to sources, for other seats from Lahore the PTI has tentatively decided that Mehar Wajid Azeem will contest the elections from NA-123, Waleed Iqbal from NA-124, Dr Yasmin Rashid from NA-125, Hamad Azhar from NA-126, Jamshaid Iqbal Cheema from NA-127, Ejaz Dyal from NA-128, Aleem Khan from NA-129, Shafaqat Mehmood from NA-130, Mansha Sindhu from NA-132, Ejaz Chaudhry from NA-133, Zaheer Abbas Khokhar from NA-134, Karamat Khokhar from NA-135 and Khalid Gujjar from NA-136.
The PTI will announce a final list of candidates from Lahore within a few days, giving enough time to the candidates to file their nomination papers for general election 2018 before the deadline of June 8, said the sources.
