Ex-PPP MNA Tariq Mayo joins PML-N

Former Member National Assembly of Pakistan People's Party Tariq Shabbir Mayo called on President PML-N Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here Tuesday and announced to join the PML-N along with his colleagues reposing complete confidence in the PML-N leadership. Welcoming Tariq Shabbir Mayo and his colleagues in the PML-N, Shabhaz said that pivot of PML-N's politics is public welfare. That is the reason, the PML-N is the most popular and largest political party in the country, he added.
Tariq Shabbir Mayo said that PML-N is the genuine representative party of the masses which has fulfilled the obligation of public service. Moreover, the PML-N parliamentary board, which met here Tuesday with Shahbaz Sharif in the chair, interviewed different candidates belonging to Sahiwal division.
Addressing the meeting, Shahbaz said the PML-N lives in the hearts of every Pakistani because of its public service. "The journey of composite development has been moved forward speedily during the last five years and the upcoming elections will forever bury the politics of deceit as the people cannot be deceived through hollow slogans of change," he added. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former federal and provincial ministers including Kh Saad Rafique, Ch Sher Ali, Kh Muhammad Asif, Rana Tanvir Hussain, Khurram Dastagir Khan, Ch Tanvir, Ahsan Iqbal and others attended the meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif has directed that all the candidates depositing their applications for the party tickets for upcoming elections should submit their nomination papers. While issuing directions during the parliamentary board meeting at PML-N Secretariat, Shahbaz said that candidates have been asked to immediately deposit their nomination papers to save time. He said that remaining aspirants will withdraw their nomination papers on the award of party tickets. The PML-N candidates will take part in the elections with complete preparations, he further said.
