The Pakistan Flour Mills Association has increased price of flour and fine flour on Wednesday. The association took the decision in a meeting held the other day which was presided over by group leader Asim Raza. As per the announcement, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour has been increased by Rs 20 while a bag of 84 kg fine has been increased by Rs 100. Resultantly, the retail price of flour and fine has jumped to Rs 755 and Rs 3600 per bag, the association added.
According to the spokesman, price has been escalated due to a constant rise in the price of wheat in open market.
