Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) President S M Naveed said on Wednesday that with the influx of artificial intelligence, the traditional professions will be wiped out since it provides cost effective, quick and accurate solution to the queries of people.
He was speaking during a meeting with the delegation of NUR International University here at the PCJCCI Secretariat that was held to discuss about the initiation of various educational programmes.
S M Naveed emphasizing the need for adoption of artificial intelligence proposed idea of initiation of various disciplines in collaboration with the Chinese universities at the NIU including Robotics, eco-friendly modern construction techniques and persistent use of information technology in upgrading societal living norms.
Dr Imran Hanif from the NIU's Economics Department said that with increased investment in robotics and related fields artificial intelligence will be developed in the key areas from transportation to health and will also connect and strengthen the research centres.
During the discussion, the PCJCCI think tank proposed to initiate a two-year sandwich programme whereby students will get one year study at NUR University at effective cost and remaining one year with the Chinese manufacturing and other industrial concerns to equip themselves of NUR University's latest technological advancements being practiced in China.
President S M Naveed also briefed the meeting that 40 students from both Pakistan and China participated in a summer camp organization in China with the collaboration of Pak-China Chamber of Commerce to promote the Sino Pak-China culture and friendship.
