Punjab caretaker government preparing next four months' budget

Caretaker Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Food and Planning & Development Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan said here on Friday that as the current financial year is ending on 30th June, the interim government is preparing budget for next four months about which important announcement will be made soon.
While having an informal interaction with senior journalists of the metropolitan the minister assured that work on all developmental projects and schemes will continue uninterrupted and no obstacle will be posed in the process of development in the province.
"The purpose of holding this informal meeting with the journalists is to take them on board regarding interim government's sincere and honest efforts to make administration free of biases and political inclination during our tenure," he clarified.
"Our priority is to ensure best public service delivery on part of the institutions and holding of one of the most fair and transparent elections in the history of country," he added.
In response to queries of the journalists, the provincial minister said that the interim government always follows instructions of election commission regarding all affairs particularly transfers and postings. Additional Secretary Planning Dr Ghazanfar Ali, Special Secretary Agriculture Marketing Silwat Saeed, and other senior officials were also present on this occasion.
