Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched election campaign for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari from National Assembly constituency NA-8, Malakand. The campaign was launched from far-flung and backward areas of the constituency included Khanori, Dheri, Naraji and others of the district. Mohammad Azam Khan Afridi, a senior PPP leader, who is focal person for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with PPP candidate from PK-19, Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha and District Nazim, Syed Ahmad Ali Shah Bacha formally, launched the election campaign.
Speaking on occasion, Azam Afridi attributed the Bilawal's decision of contesting election from Malakand is good luck for the people of the district. He said that after general elections 2018 Bilawal Bhutto will be the prime minister of Pakistan, which will result in the resolution of all longstanding problems and the area would be put on the path of progress and development. He termed the contesting of Bilawal Bhutto from the constituency an honor for the electorates and was confident that the people of the district will vote for the PPP chairman and confiscate the surety bond of the rival candidates.
Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha, PPP candidate from PK-19 said that political environment is favorable for their party and the fate of the district Malakand will awake in the coming general elections as the area is the electoral constituency of both central and provincial president and after success one will be the Prime Minister while the second will be the Chief Minister of the province. He was confident that people will vote them on the basis of exemplary performance adding that some elements are hoodwinking people in the name of Islam, Pakhtunism and change, whose performance is well-known to the people. He asked the people to compare their performance with their opponents.
