In a major reshuffle, the caretaker government Tuesday transferred and posted almost all the federal secretaries with immediate effect. The Establishment Division also issued notifications in this respect. Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tariq Mahmood Pasha has been transferred and posted as secretary Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) effect from July 1st. Outgoing Secretary PBS Rukhsana Yasmeen has been transferred and appointed as the chairman FBR with effect from July 1st. Muhammad Ayub Sheikh has been appointed as secretary Kashmir Affairs. Dr Sultan Azam Temuri has been appointed as member NACTA.
Sanaullah Abbasi has been appointed as IG Police Gilgit-Baltistan whereas outgoing IG Police Gilgit-Baltistan Sabir Ahmed has been directed to report to the Establishment Division for further postings.
Secretary Narcotics Division Squadron Leader Iqbal Mahmood (retd) has been directed to report to the Establishment Division. Captain Arif Nawaz Khan (retd) has been appointed as the secretary Narcotics Division.
Yousaf Naseem Khokhar has been appointed as secretary interior. He was serving as secretary energy previously. Khokhar would replace Arshad Mirza who has been posted as secretary information.
Chief Secretary Sindh Rizwan Memon has been posted as the secretary energy. Amir Zulfiqar Khan has been posted as IG Motorway Police. Director General Passport Ishrat Ali has been appointed as chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA). Likewise, Chief Secretary Balochistan Aurangzeb Haq has been asked to report to the Establishment Division.
