As only one day is left for the allocation of party symbols to the candidates, the conglomeration of six religious parties Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal has given party tickets to 13 candidates of its component party Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Pakistan for contesting National Assembly seats and 19 candidates for Provincial seats of Punjab province.
JUP head Pir Ejaz Ahmad Hashmi gave away the tickets to the party candidates to contest the National Assembly and Punjab Assembly elections from the platform of MMA.
According to a party press release Sahibzada Saeed Ahmad has been awarded ticket for NA - 55, Attock, Mufti Mahmood Hussain Shaiq NA 58 Pindi, Tariq Muneer Butt NA 62, Mahboob Ali Mujahid NA 66 Jhelum, Pir Mahfooz Mashhadi NA 86 Mandi Bahauddin Sahibzada Mushtaqul NA 96 Mianwali, Maulana Arshad Qamar NA 100 Chiniot, Iftikhar Ahmad NA 133, Lahore. Rao Azmatullah NA 145 Pakpattan, Basheer Ahmad NA 147 Sahiwal, Allama Noor Ahmad Sial NA 179 R Y Khan, Dr Bilal Klasra NA 188 Layya, Khawja Mudassar NA 189 D.G. Khan.
