Asking prices for soyameal on the European meals and feeds market eased slightly on Thursday because of benign crop weather in the US soyabean belt and due to positioning ahead of Friday's USDA crop conditions and quarterly stocks reports.
South American soyameal was mostly offered between flat and $3 a tonne lower, also tracking last night's slightly easier CBOT soyameal futures close. Rapemeal was quoted hardly changed with weakness in soyameal offset by stronger rapeseed futures on dry crop weather in most rapeseed growing areas and due to a reduction in the European Commission's monthly rapeseed output outlook.
