Zonal Commanders Motorway Zone, Deputy Inspector General Motorway Zone, Ishfaq Ahmed and Deputy Inspector General North Zone Mahboob Aslam briefed to IG, NH&MP, Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan regarding operational, performance, initiatives and campaigns of their respective zones in NH&MP Central Police Office, Islamabad.
DIG (HQs) Riffat Mukhtar, DIG Motorway Zone Ishfaq Ahmed Khan, DIG North Zone Mahboob Aslam, SSP M-2 (South) Kamran Adil, SSP Central-I Masroor Alam Kolachi, Deputy Commandant NH&MP Training College Sheikhupura SSP Syed Hashmat Kamal and SP North-III Salman Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that the prime responsibility of the NH&MP is providing safe and secure travelling to the road users, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.
He further said that patrolling standards on highways & motorways would be improved. IG has directed to zonal commanders to take action against encroachment with collaboration of other law enforcing agencies.
Special first Aid Training will be given to the NH&MP officers with the help of Rescue 1122. Inspector General Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan appreciated the overall performance of National Highways and Motorway Police officers.-PR
