Provincial leaders of Tehreek-e-Jawanan Pakistan (TJP) have demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan to take notice of its code of conduct violation to ensure fair and transparent conduct of the general elections in the province.
The TJP provincial president Irfan Alam told a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday. He said that ECP had imposed complete ban on initiating of any kind of development work and schemes.
But, he alleged that power transformers and pylons were installing by the candidates, while development works also carried out in different constituencies of the province. Therefore, he urged the ECP to take its immediate notice and to ensure holding the election in a transparent way.
Flanked by the TJP nominated candidates from Peshawar, Abbas Ali Shah for PK-66, Aurangzeb PK-67, Hibat Khan for PK-73, Ali Mohammad Khan for PK-76 and Tahir Khan for PK-77 and other, Alam said that the party will hold a massive public gathering at Dalazak Road Peshawar on July 15.
He added the rally will address by the party central and provincial leaders.
He urged the masses to ensure their participation in the rally in a maximum number. He said the TJP had created to raise voice in best interest of masses and the country. He said the country is being faced with internal and external challenges.
