Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) on Tuesday said that his party would not complain about lack of powers if Karachiites voted his party. Talking to media at Pakistan House, the PSP Chairman implicitly targeting MQM Pakistan for complaining about powerless local government representatives remarked, "Why don't they resign if the party's elected representatives have no power".

A peaceful Karachi exists today or a city where bodies of innocent people were going to graveyards on daily basis in greater number," he added.
He appealed to parents to reject those who got elected in Karachi for decades for the sake of future of their children. He thanked the public for participation in the rally of PSP on Monday night and said that today's participation proved the claims, made two years back wrong that people would not come out.
The PSP chief also talked about the expelling of people from the government quarters in Karachi and said that it is the responsibility of the state to provide shelter to citizens of the country. He said that the PSP would adopt a legal course over this issue.
He said that hearing of the case about low population of Karachi in national census would be held after July 25 and added that the PSP has proofs that Karachi's population was shown low deliberately.
