Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Ahmed Ali M Sheikh on Tuesday directed to decide all the election petitions, pending in various benches in two days by seeking their details. The Chief Justice Sindh High Court also directed Sukkur bench and circuit courts Hyderabad and Larkana to comply with orders immediately.
According to a notification of SHC, general elections are scheduled for July 25 and the petitions regarding acceptance/rejection of nomination papers may hamper the election process in certain constituencies. Considering the importance and vitality of the issues, the list of all election petitions should be prepared and be decided in two days. The Chief Justice also directed to pursue the petitions, whose dates have not been given by forwarding to the concerned bench.
