Bilawal slams opponents for aligning with extremist parties

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has criticized his opponents for forming electoral alliances with proscribed and extremist parties to win elections. "It is PMLN, PTI or GDA; everyone has shook hands with extremist parties against PPP," he added.
The PPP chairman said that the nexus between banned organisation and the political parties is evident in Malir District of Karachi. He was talking to media at Bilawal House on Friday.
He said extremism and terrorism is on its peak the people of Pakistan should take extremist parties as red line to avoid confusion on future of Pakistan. "We have to set redline against extremism in politics," he said. "We have to think what message we are giving to the world." The PPP leader said his party will pursue politics of federation irrespective of the election result.
Bilawal said the PML-N believes in selection rather than election. The election should not be made controversial by facilitating a few political parties and allies, he added. He termed his rally on GT Road very successful, saying he would continue his struggle for the rule of people. He said he would return Karachi to address public rallies.
Earlier, Bilawal reached late at Thokar Niaz Baig and left for Kasur after a short address to the party workers. Party workers had extended rousing welcome and raised slogans when he reached the city.
