Woods in the mix as Kisner makes move at British Open

Tiger Woods is right in contention at the top of a packed British Open leaderboard after one of the best completed scores so far in the third round at Carnoustie on Saturday afternoon. The 14-time major winner was at one point out on his own at the top of the leaderboard after his sixth birdie of the day at the 14th hole.
However, he dropped a shot at the 16th and then salvaged a par at the last for a five-under-par round of 66 to follow even-par rounds on Thursday and Friday. Kevin Kisner, who was in a share of the lead at the halfway stage on six-under, birdied the third to go to minus seven, level with fellow American Xander Schauffele after his run of three straight birdies from the fifth. Franceso Molinari of Italy was six under par after a birdie at the 16th, level with reigning champion Jordan Spieth, who was three-under for his round after completing the front nine.
