Chef Zubaida Tariq
Zubaida Tariq, who was known as Zubaida Aapa, was certainly a household name. Her sudden death on January 4 left her fans shocked. She was a renowned chef, cooking expert and a health adviser, who was known more for giving home remedies for many things related to daily life.
Asma Jahangir
Pakistani humanitarian and social activist Asma Jahangir passed away due to cardiac arrest on February 11. She was 66 years old and dedicated most of her life serving humanity. Asma’s sudden death came as a complete shock to everyone.
Qazi Wajid
Pakistani veteran TV actor Qazi Wajid passed away on February 11 after he was admitted to hospital with the complaint of heart palpitations. He was 87 years old at the time of his demise. He continued to work in Pakistani dramas right till the end and had a massive fan following.
Sridevi
February saw the sudden and untimely death of ageless beauty Sridevi that left everyone shocked. The iconic actress breathed her last on February 24 at the age of 54 in Dubai while attending a marriage along with husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi.

DJ Avicii
The 28-year-old Swedish DJ Avicii was found dead on April 20 while on vacation in Oman. Avicii was one of the first DJs to bring electronic dance music into the mainstream, filling festivals and winning radio airplay as he collaborated with artists including Madonna and Coldplay.
Mac Miller
Rapper Mac Miller died from an accidental overdose on September 7. The 26-year-old rapper was found dead in his Studio City, California after an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.
Chef Tahir Chaudry
Pakistani chef Tahir Chaudry passed away due to cardiac arrest on October 6, 2018. He was an internationally certified chef who started his career working at an international hotel in Dubai, UAE. Before moving to Pakistan, he also worked in France and Italy.
Stan Lee
Marvel founder Stan Lee passed away in November this year. He is a creator of some of the biggest superhero franchises. While Stan Lee may be gone, Marvel fans will still get to see him live again, through some touching Marvel movie cameos that have yet to be revealed.
