The Collectorate of Customs (Appraisement), Lahore has registered a growth of 40 percent in collection of Customs duty during the first of month of financial year 2018-19. According to details, the Collectorate has collected Rs 2.052 billion against Rs 1.467 billion in July, 2017.
While chairing monthly revenue meeting Collector Jamil Nasir has urged upon the officers and officials of Customs to make strenuous efforts for optimum revenue collection through trade facilitation and quick clearance of import consignments.
