The Foreign Office on Saturday strongly condemned the killing of five Kashmiri youth in the Indian-occupied Kashmir by Indian troops in a brutal crackdown.
"Five young Kashmiri boys were brutally gunned down by (security forces of) India in Shopian on Saturday. Pakistan strongly condemns the deliberate, brutal Indian crackdown aimed at genocide of innocent Kashmiris, especially the youth," Spokesperson Foreign Office Dr Mohammad Faisal said in a tweet.
Media reports coming from the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir stated that the Kashmiri youth were killed by the Indian forces during a cordon and search operation in Kilora area of the district which was followed by anti-India demonstrations in the area and clashes with Indian troops.
