Former Railways Minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday took a jibe at PM-in-waiting Imran Khan over his 'dual behavior' pertaining to recount in constituencies. He was talking to media in Lahore. "Imran Khan favors reopening of constituencies in public but his legal team does the opposite in the courts", regretted Saad Rafique. Rafique told media persons that he wanted Imran Khan to retain NA-131 seat. "If Imran Khan swears in as country's premier, he would be de-seated by the election tribunal", predicted Rafique.
Calling for reopening all constituencies of Pakistan for recounting, Rafique equated General Elections 2018 with 'selection'. Keeping verbal onslaught up, the former minister of railways also lambasted Muttahida Qaumi Movement over their dual policy. "MQM supports Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Centre while it make ruckus pertaining to rigging in elections at the same time", stated Rafique.
Earlier, PML-N's stalwart appeared before Lahore High Court (LHC) in connection to the plea in which he has challenged polls' results of NA-131. It is pertinent here to mention that Rafique lost tightly-contested election against Imran Khan in Lahore's NA-131 constituency.
