KCCI's top three posts may go to BMG-backed candidates

Junaid Ismail Makda, Khurram Shehzad and Asif Shaikh Javed are likely to be elected as president, senior vice president and vice president of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for 2018-19, respectively.
Businessmen Group (BMG) leader and former president KCCI, Siraj Kasim Teli, is said to have hinted at nominating them for said positions in the KCCI. Pakistan Chemical and Dyes Merchant Association (PCDMA) chairman M. Arif Lakhani has expressed full confidence in BMG and announced to support BMG candidates in coming KCCI election.
He lauded the services of Teli for business, industrial community and general public and said Teli brought about revolutionary and progressive changes in trade politics and in functioning of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the PCDMA and other platforms of public service and social work.
"Members of PCDMA are well-aware of the services of Siraj Kassam Teli who never compromised and always raised strong voice in front of high dignitaries for protecting genuine rights of the business community and to promote the commerce and industry," he said.
