Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has awarded central contracts to as many as 17 blind cricketers for a period of six months from July to December, 2018. The central contracts were awarded in three categories i.e., Category-A (Rs 12,000), Category-B (Rs 10,000) and Category-C (Rs 9,000). A spokesman of the PBCC said that the contracts have been awarded keeping in view performances of the players. In Category-A and B, three players each are included while rest of the 14 are part of Category-C.
The players are: Mati Ullah, Muhammad Akram and Riasat Khan (Category A); Haroon Khan, Badar Munir and Nisar Ali (Category B); Muhammad Rashid, Anees Javed, Muhammad Ayyaz, Israr Hassan, Mohsin Khan, Sana Ullah, Ghulam Akbar, Shahzaib Hyder, Bismillah Khan, Idrees Saleem and Abdul Maalik are in Category-C.
