The Lahore High Court on Friday restrained the Punjab caretaker government from withdrawing security squad of former provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and sought reply within a week.
The petitioner's counsel Azam Nazir Tarar contended that Rana Sana had been facing life threats. He said the respondent government withdrew his security making him vulnerable to any untoward incident. He therefore asked the court to stop the government from withdrawing security of the petitioner. The court after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length passed the interim order and sought reply from the government.
