MULTAN: Pakistan Railways (PR) Multan division earned over Rs 354 million from freight, showing an increase of over Rs 114 million against the set target during the last six months of fiscal year 2018-19.
According to railway sources, a revenue target of Rs 240 million was given to railway Multan division which earned over Rs 354 million from freight including diesel, concrete, cement and other goods.
Divisional Superintendent Railway Ameer Daud Pota lauded the performance of divisional transportation officer Tahir Masood Marwat and his team.
He said that Multan division was in second number after Karachi division regarding freight across the country and hoped that the revenue would be enhanced more with better team work.
