Seven killed over money dispute

At least seven people including two passer-bys were killed, while six other seriously injured when two rival groups exchanged gunfire over a money dispute on the first day of Eidul Azha in jurisdiction of Toru police station in district Mardan.
According to Toru police station, two armed groups one led by Khan Ghalib son of Khawas Khan and his sons Sajid, Abid, Hamid while other group Saddam, Ali Sher, Ikram sons of Nowsher and Zahoor Khan exchanged harsh words on money despite in Daki village Toru and later started trading heavy gunfire.
As a result, seven persons were killed and sex including two women sustained injuries. The dead were identified as Mubasir Hussain and Mohammad Hussain, Raj Wali, Sabir, Sartaj, and passer-by Badi-uz-Zaman and Fazl-e-Rehman.
The injured were identified as Ikram Hussain son of Nowsher and Izhar Ali nephew of Nowsher Khan, Dil Afzala wife of Raj Wali, Shahzad sons of Abdul Wahab, Sartaj son of Shahzada, Sartaj and his son Musa, Taniya daughter of Abdul Wahab.
Police shifted the injured people to hospital, where later on Sartaj died in the hospital.
District police officer (DPO) Hafiz Wahid Mahmood reached the crime scene. Police said that they have registered two separate first information report (FIR) of the incident.
Police said that from the one side injured woman Dil Afzala wife of Raj Wali registered the FIR and charged Saddam, Ali Sher, Ikram Hussain sons of Nowsher Khan and Zahoor son of Gul Khan while from the other side injured Ikram Hussain son of Nowsher Khan registered the FIR and charged Khan Ghalibhis sons Sajid, Abid and Hamid. Police registered cases under section 302 of the CrPC against the accused and started investigation.
