P&D department budget discussed

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the Planning & Development Department on Friday for briefing about four-month development budget and ongoing annual budget. He presided over a high-level meeting about pecuniary matters.
Addressing the meeting, The CM said agenda of his leader Imran Khan is public service, adding that we all have to fulfill this mission jointly. You have to work as my team, he advised the P&D staff. He said that rearrangements are usually made whenever a new government is in place. He assured the participants of the meeting that there would be no reshuffling of staff. He said he would also make the Chief Minister office functional at the civil secretariat. He further said he would visit also other departments, districts and divisional headquarters.
According to him, development of the south Punjab would be preferred and problems of the poverty-ridden people would be solved on priority. He reiterated the promotion of good governance and there would be zero tolerance against corruption. Corrupt elements would have no role in the new Pakistan, he asserted.
