Partly cloudy weather forecast for Karachi

Weather in the city expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of drizzle in the next two days, the Met Office forecast on Saturday. Temperature in Karachi is likely to remain between 30 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday (Sep 2 and Sep 3). Humidity level may remain between 70 percent and 85 percent over the forecast period.
"Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. A westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country. Light to moderate monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country and likely to strengthen in 24 to 48 hours, the Met said.
In the next 24 hours: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in the most parts of the country with a scattered rain-thundershower and gusty winds in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan and Rawalpindi Divisions, while isolated fall in Sargodha, Lahore, Peshawar and Kohat Divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Over the past 24 hours, weather remained hot and humid in the most parts of the country with isolated rain-thundershower in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar and Rawalpindi Divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.
