The MCC (Appraisement), Lahore has surpassed target of customs duty for the months of July and August, 2018 with wide margin. A monthly revenue meeting of the officers was held on Saturday at Mughalpura Dry port, Lahore. Collector of Customs Jamil Nasir Khan chaired the meeting.
The chair noted with a sense of satisfaction that the Collectorate has collected Rs 3767 million during August, 2018 witnessing growth of 31 percent despite no import clearances by the importers for almost one week due to Eid holidays. Jamil Nasir, Collector congratulated his team for surpassing the target and stressed upon them that maximum facilitation should be extended to the importers by ensuring early clearance of their consignments.
