Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday chaired a meeting at his Banigala residence to chalk out media strategy for highlighting his government performance and brining the previous government's alleged lavish spending. According to the media office of the PTI, the meeting discussed the strategy to highlight the government decision of reducing the expenditures, curtailing the arbitrary powers of the Prime Minister and the major decisions taken the government through the media.
It was decided that the alleged "lavish" spending of the former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will be brought before the nation. It was also decided that all the decisions will be taken before through consultations by taking the parliament into the confidence. The meeting attending by senior PTI leadership was given a comprehensive briefing by Finance Minister Asad Umar on the strategy to cut the expenditures.
