FRANKFURT AM MAIN: Gains on Europe's major stock exchanges accelerated Friday after the head of the Federal Reserve signaled that the US central bank was no longer fixed on a course of rising interest rates.
Around 1630 GMT Frankfurt was up 3.1 percent at 10,739.17 points, followed by a 2.5 percent gain for Paris to 4,725.88 and a 2.2 percent increase in London to 6,839.47.
