Institute of Business Administration, University of Sindh, organized a seminar under the theme of 'We the Future', here on Thursday. The purpose of organizing the event was to develop sustainable liaison between SU and industrial sector, initiation of research in industry-academia context and imparting to students job market dynamics and professional opportunities available therein.
VC SU Dr Burfat as the occasion Chief Guest said that universities must stay in loop with industries to get to know the real problems of the masses they represented. He added that higher education institutions were morally obliged to provide ready, competent and committed human resource to the business and industry world as per the latter's specific demands.
"Youth are Pakistan's tomorrow. The world is rapidly changing; to catch up with this fast moving mechanism; we need to shift our attention and invest our energy in the corporate culture, which has literally taken over the globe," the vice chancellor opined. The Vice Chancellor eulogized the efforts of SU-IBA Director Prof Dr Syed Abdul Sattar Shah and IBA- Sophomore team upon convening such useful seminar.
