Pak-China business forum-industrial expo begins today

Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI), Comsat University and Everest International Expo Pvt Ltd are jointly organizing a three-day '6th Pakistan China Business Forum-Industrial Expo.' The exhibition commencing from September 14 would be held here at the Expo Centre, PCJCCI President S.M. Naveed, Chairman China Affairs PCJCCI Wang Zihai, and Everest International's chief executive officer Frank Fa said this while speaking at a press conference on Thursday. Mi Wenpeng, Deputy Director General of Jinan Federation, was also present on the occasion.
They said that the exhibition would provide opportunities to all participants in different sectors including cranes, energy and mineral equipment, engineering and construction, forklifts, general industrial equipment, industry lesser equipment, machine tool equipment, machine engine and parts, metal and metallurgy machinery, mining machinery, refrigeration equipment, CNC, laser machine, welding equipment, electricity, boilers, lubricant , solar cell panel, solar chargers, solar collector, solar energy system, solar water heater, electric vehicles, auto parts, agricultural machinery, construction materials and bricks making machinery.
Over 500 Chinese are taking part in the event who will showcase their latest technology, equipment and innovative ideas of new products from all over the world, they added. S.M Naveed hoped that the exhibition will open a wide way towards contemporary opportunities for business ventures to the local businesses and industries. Further, it shall act as a source for the up gradation of our local industry by introducing emerging technologies and to develop our businesses based on futuristic approach in order to take maximum benefits out of CPEC.
Speaking on the occasion, Wang Zihai invited other countries to participate in "high quality and shared development" under Belt Road Initiative. This a good sign for Pakistan to play its role in aligning with this vision of its strategic and all-weathered partner, China. "Keeping in view the above vision, I reckon that the role of PCJCCI becomes increasingly important in near future." He also said: "This exhibition will definitely prove to be a fruitful initiative for development and the promotion of bilateral trade relations between Pakistan and China."
Mi Wenpeng said the business-to-business meeting would also take place with an aim of one-stop shop for all industry products from processing technology to the finished products. She said such exhibitions will help develop bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
