IGP seeks citizens' help in curbing crimes

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam has sought the assistance of all the citizens to combat street crimes in the metropolis. In a statement issued on Sunday, he asked citizens to keep an eye on any suspicious activity in their areas and immediately inform police helpline 15 or nearest SSP and DSP offices regarding any suspicious person or activity.
He said public should have make to sure that individual and collective efforts and roles against crime would reduce crime at all level in the society. He said SSPs themselves meet those citizens who inform police about crime and give them cash prizes and also arrange schedules for their meeting with Additional IG Karachi and respective DIGs.
