Weeks after Katrina Kaif opted out of Remo D'Souza's biggest dance film ‘ABCD 3’, actress Shraddha Kapoor has filled in the spot to star opposite Varun Dhawan.
Many names such as Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon and Sara Ali Khan were doing the rounds for the female lead, but now the male lead of the movie Varun took to his Twitter to confirm that Shraddha has been roped in to replace Katrina in the movie.

Shraddha has also confirmed the news saying, “I’m excited to reunite with Remo sir, Prabhudehva sir and Varun after ABCD 2. This was made possible by Bhushanji who brought us back and believed in this amazing story. It is going to be a lot of hard work for everyone involved but we are all pumped up,” Indian media reported.
The actors will be seen as professional dancers representing the Indian contingent and his team in the film which is on the lines of the Hollywood franchise ‘Step Up’.
‘ABCD 3’ will be directed by Remo D’Souza. Remo has said that ABCD 3 will be the biggest 3D dance film in the history of Bollywood, calling it ‘the ultimate dance film’ in a statement.
