Adviser demands probe into Punjab Minister's jail visit

Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Law and Anti-Corruption, Barrister Murtaza Wahab has demanded inquiry to know the real motives of visit of Punjab Jail Minister to Kot Lakhpat Prison, which, he said, was nothing but a flagrant violation of national action plan.
In a statement released on Monday, the adviser said that provincial minister for prison Zawar Hussain reportedly visited jail with his accomplices in dark which raised serious questions. He said prisoners of banned outfits and those others involved in heinous crimes were detained in Kot Lakhpat jail. He said the motive of that meeting which was held late night should come to surface.
"Our country has already been the target of enemies," Barrister Murtaza Wahab said, adding that the Provincial Minister's meeting with criminals raised serious questions on the security of country also.-PR
