Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervez Elahi has termed Rana Mashood's controversial statement about bridging the gap between the establishment and N-League as an attempt in vain to keep the N-League alive which is in the process of withering away. He said there is no truth in this statement.
Talking to newsmen in his chamber on Wednesday he said that Sharif brothers are patrons of "qabza" (land grabbers) mafia and their workers have deprived the poor people of their properties. Shahbaz Sharif de-shaped the institutions during his 10 years rule, earned money from every institution. Sharif brothers are the root cause of every wrong.
The Speaker praised Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar as an educated and very humble person. Elahi said that credit goes to Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saquib Nisar that he had put his hand on the right pulse of the former government and exposed their corruption. Replying to a question whether Nawaz Sharif will again go to jail, he said that cases are being heard against Sharif family in the courts, therefore he would not comment, however he said the superior judiciary of the country have called him as a mafia.
