The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has made necessary developments in Data Acquisition Portal (DAP) to facilitate banks in submission of daily cash position. In September 2016, banks were asked for submission of denomination-wise and branch-wise monthly stock position of cash balance via SBP Data Acquisition Portal (DAP).
While appreciating the efforts of banks in efficient reporting through DAP, the SBP intends to further improve the reporting mechanism with a view to monitoring and managing the cash operations, banks would be required to upload/submit branch-wise cash receipt and withdrawal position at each day end.
Accordingly, the SBP has made necessary development in the DAP to facilitate banks in submission of branch-wise daily position. In order to acquaint the respective officials of banks, the SBP is also organizing an orientation session to facilitate banks and create awareness. Therefore, the SBP has asked banks to nominate, at least two officials to participate in the session. The nominations can be sent on or before October 19, 2018.
