Efforts afoot to get rid of quackery: adviser

Advisor to the Sindh Chief Minister on Information Murtaza Wahab has said that provincial government is working on plan to get rid of quackery in the Sindh. He was addressing the seminar on "Quackery in Sindh", jointly organized by Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) and Helpline Trust at PMA House, here on Wednesday.
Murtaza Wahab said quacks and fake medicines are proving fatal for human lives besides fraudulent activities have spoiled the image of our society. He said that Sindh government is working on different projects to improve healthcare facilities in the province. Professor Tipu Slutan, Chairman Sindh Healthcare Commission urged upon the need to implement the law meant for countering the quackery in the province.
