Sindh government has decided to take all vehicles back, which are allocated against the entitlement. According to details, the decision was made at a meeting of the cabinet committee on luxury vehicles held at new Sindh Secretariat Building.
The meeting was attended by Minister Mines and Minerals Sindh Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani. Minister Local Govt, Katchi Abadies, Public Health Engineering and Rural Development Sindh Saeed Ghani, Minister Excise, Taxation, Narcotics and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla and Secretary G A Abdul Wahab Soomro and advisor to CM Sindh for Information and Law and Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui.
It was decided that no vehicle could be allotted against the entitlement and those vehicles which were given against the entitlement should immediately be taken back. The meeting also decided to review the entitlement policy of the vehicles and the newly reviewed and approved policy should be submitted before the Supreme Court. The meeting stressed upon that implementation of the apex courts directives should be ensured.
