PML-N, APML activists join PTI

Activists of Pakistan Muslim League-N, All Pakistan Muslim League from district Nowshera and Peshawar announced the joining of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf by quitting their parties, here on Tuesday.
They made the announcement during a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday. Accompanied by the PTI labour wing president Peshawar region, Saboor Shah Bacha, Shaukat Khan Qasim Khan and others, PML-N vice president from district Nowshera, Asmat Khan and APML activist Khalid Tanveer parted away from their parties and joined the PTI to support the party's chairman Imran Khan and his ongoing campaign against corruption-free Pakistan and work of poor masses.
Asmat Khan said that he is believed to serve the poor masses but their leaders were only working for their own interest and failed to resolve the masses. He said that previous rulers had looted the country with both hands, did nothing to steer the country from crisis situation. Therefore, he decided to join the PTI to work for welfare and betterment of the downtrodden segment of the society.
Khalid Tanveer said PTI chairman Imran Khan is the only leader, which has presented for himself for accountability, but other leaders are not ready to do the same. So, he said they decided to quit their parties. He said there is clear vision of PTI under which we will jointly work for public welfare, he vowed. On the occasion, Saboor Bacha announced the formation of committee for Clean and Green Pakistan campaign.
