Meaningful change: Punjab CM vows to accomplish IK's vision

Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed his firm resolve to materialize Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision of bringing a meaningful change in the country. "Resolution of problems at the doorsteps of the people is the PTI manifesto and every possible step will be taken in this regard," he said while holding separate meetings with MPAs of Multan and Sahiwal divisions, here at Punjab assembly on Tuesday. The CM listened to the problems of legislators and discussed different proposals for their resolution while issuing on-the-spot instructions.
The chief minister maintained that consultation process with the assembly members will be continued while a strategy has been devised to solve the problems of assembly members at the district level and their proposals will also be taken care of. He said the government is working day and night to serve the masses and address the problems of the people. "We have come to power to deliver to the masses and have no other agenda like the past government," he said.
Talking to the women assembly members, the chief minister said that the PTI government will provide equal opportunities for women empowerment while the women parliamentarians should play their proactive role so that a meaningful change could be ensured in the society. Senior minister Abdul Aleem Khan, provincial ministers, chief secretary, ACS, IG police and secretaries attended the meeting.
Moreover, in a message on World Polio Day, the chief minister said that adoption of effective measures for complete eradication of polio from the society is the collective responsibility of the government as well as the society. The complete eradication of polio from Pakistan is an important agenda of the government and every effort will be made for that purpose, he added.
