Chohan urges Hamza to join business advisory committee

Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has urged the opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz to join the business advisory committee with a view to fulfilling his constitutional responsibility.
Talking to newsmen outside the Punjab Assembly on Thursday, Chohan advised Hamza to learn manners before advising others for the same. "He (Hamza) should be ashamed of himself when he uses derogatory language against a decent and honourable person like Sardar Usman Buzdar. How ironic it is that on the one hand he uses foul language against the Punjab Chief Minister, while on the other, he blames the Speaker Punjab Assembly Chauhdry Perwaiz Ellahi for the same," he maintained.
Hamza Shehbaz, the minister added, had nothing to do with morality, honesty and democratic values. Instead, he went on to say, the father and the son-Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz- were running their party as a private limited company.
To a question regarding a proposed all parties conference by the opposition parties, Chohan dubbed the planned event as "All Pakistan looters conference" rather than an all parties conference.
"I would like to commend my leader and Prime Minister Imran Khan who has already made it clear that he would not bow to the opposition's blackmailing", he said and added "The PML-N leaders should understand now that whether you stand on the container or hold so-called all parties conference, the ongoing accountability process will continue at any cost."
Responding to a question vis-à-vis government advertisement, the minister said there was no ban on the release of the government ads. The Information Department and the Director General Public relations (DGPR) were releasing advertisement on regular basis, he added. Commenting on the recent review of the power tariff, Chohan said the incumbent government had reduced the tariff by 50 per cent for the farmers, which was exceptional.
